OPPO, a global technology innovator, Oppo and Hasselblad, a renowned camera maker, have announced their collaboration at Paris Photo 2023 to create the groundbreaking HyperTone Camera Systems, set to launch in 2024. This partnership marks a significant step in computational photography, blending aesthetic principles with advanced technology. The HyperTone Camera Systems, first to be featured in OPPO’s upcoming Find series, promises a transformative mobile imaging experience.
Oliver Zhang, OPPO’s Imaging Director, expressed excitement over the partnership’s progress. The Find X6 Series, incorporating the HyperTone Camera System, has been acclaimed by users and experts alike. The Find N3 Series also made waves, introducing high-end imaging to foldable devices. Zhang highlights the union of traditional imaging aesthetics with mobile technology, setting new standards in the industry.
Bronius Rudnickas, Hasselblad’s Global Marketing Manager, emphasized the significance of this collaboration. He noted that the venture goes beyond mere style inheritance, offering a deeper blend of aesthetics and technology. The HyperTone Camera System includes the HyperTone All Main Camera System, HyperTone Image Engine, and HyperTone ProXDR Display. Notably, the HyperTone Camera System introduces an industry-first All Main Camera System, achieving high-quality images across all focal lengths and lighting conditions.
